Happy New Year Everyone!

Good Evening Everyone! It's currently Monday night 8:10 PM MT here in Montana. I took
a couple weeks off from blogging as there wasn't much going on in the rodeo world, and took some of that precious time and spent it with family that I don't get to see that often. With that being said, It's the second week of January and the rodeo / bull riding industry is kicking off on a high note! Shall we get started on the bull riding / rodeo news?

First off, since the PBR just kicked off their 2016 season in Chicago, Illinois this past weekend it makes since to cover their event first! The event was a two day event starting on Jan 9th and ending on Jan 10th, 2016. The first night was full of excitement as so many fans and competitors had the chance to gather up with one another once again and chase their dreams together again.

Second, with the PRO RODEO trail coming back from their little holiday break there has only been a few rodeos under their belt since Christmas and New Years! As of right now, the Denver Stock Show And Rodeo, and the Sandhills Stock Show And Rodeo are going on. Let's take a look at whose taking the lead in the event below:

Saddle Bronc Riding - Jacobs Crawley
Tie-Down Roping - Tuf Cooper
Barrel Racing - Katie Carroll

As of right now, the PBR Blue Def Velocity TPD is going on at the Denver Stockshow And Rodeo for 3 days. After those 3 days on Jan 14th, 2016 through the 24th the PRO RODEO will start! Stay tuned for details on that event in my next Kimes Ranch Jeans " Rodeo Paige " blog.
