Showing cutting horses as a kid in South East Texas developed my passion for the sport. After many years in the show pen, I decided to expand my knowledge and move to Blanchard, Oklahoma to work for NRCHA Professional, Todd Crawford. I spent many years working under Todd, crafting my horsemanship and gaining the knowledge that it took to train reined cow horses. I have now been showing and training on my own for three years and have been blessed with many accomplishments. At my first NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, I was the Reserve Intermediate Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion. I concluded the 2021 show season bringing two horses back to the Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Finals. I was crowned the 2021 NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Reserve Champion, as well as the Open Intermediate Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion.

The support of Kimes Ranch within the NRCHA does not go unnoticed by the competitors. I believe that my values, love for horses, and passion for the sport align directly with the standards of Kimes Ranch. I love that Kimes Ranch is not only an excellent corporation, but a team of business people who hold western sports and heritage close to their hearts. I believe that I could represent Kimes Ranch in a way that encourages others who are starting their career and continue to work with the Kimes family inside and outside of the show pen. Not only do I appreciate the engagement in the equine industry and NRCHA, I have also been a huge fan of Kimes Ranch products, denim, and outerwear for many years.

What are your goals for 2022 with this sponsorship?

My goals for 2022 are to have successful days at home, and expand the foundation of my business, so that I can showcase that work inside the arena. 2020 and 2021 were such amazing years for my career and I look forward to the future with determination. I am very excited about the horses that I have coming up for 2022 and the ongoing careers of my Snaffle Bit Futurity finalists. This sponsorship would allow me to work alongside a team of people with the same goals who support and encourage each others work.
