The Betty

Before I begin, I just want to remind everyone that personal style is whatever you make it. If you like it, wear it. If you feel beautiful in it, wear it. If that tee, jeans, or cool accessory brings out your inner confidence, WEAR IT! This blog series is simply my personal take on how to style specific pieces. With that said, let’s get started! 

The Betty style from Kimes is the perfect universal pair of jeans! I personally love them because you can literally wear them all day. I love to pair them with a cute top and heels for work, but when five o-clock comes around that’s when the graphic tee and boots get thrown on to ride my horses. The Betty’s are a mid-rise boot cut jean that compliments every body type. I am 5’3 with curves and I personally LOVE and recommend these jeans. Here are a few outfits I threw together to show how I personally diversify the Betty. 

In this first outfit I paired my Bettys with a dressy yellow button down accented with my favorite turquoise concho belt from Aces Arrow and a simple pair of black heels. Being on the shorter side I did a thicker cuff at the bottom to make legs look a little longer and to show off my favorite pair of Michael Kors heels. I personally would wear this outfit to work or any fun outing on the town.

This second outfit is more of a casual everyday look. A simple graphic tee and sandals is one of my favorite go tos! From hanging out with friends watching slack to driving all day to the next rodeo, you can’t go wrong with keeping it casual. Again, I cuffed the bottom to make the Betty more of a crop style jean and tied up an old button up to add some of my own personal touch to this look. 

My third outfit is an oldie but goodie. In Vegas during the NFR I was invited to a Kustomize your Kimes party where I was given the opportunity to personally customize my own pair of Bettys! This was one of the coolest events I attended while in Vegas. I knew I wanted to make them simple but also wanted them to be a statement piece in my closet. I used them in a shoot I did with Tyler Bicknell where I paired them with one of my Branded SD tees. I tied up my tee to create a slimming effect and cuffed the bottom to show off my boots. My goal with this outfit was to create a simple yet dressy look that can be worn anywhere.

Lastly, like at the end of most of my days I swapped out my cute top and heels for a simple long sleeve and spurs. Like all of Kimes Ranch Jeans, these are perfect to ride in! I love how comfortable and durable they are. The Betty has the perfect amount of stretch yet are a thicker material so you know they will last.
