#KRJFamily in The 2024 American Performance Horseman

The American Performance Horseman debuted in 2023 and continues in 2024, bringing together the very best in Western equine performance. Held in Arlington, Texas at the Globe Life Field on March 8th, three industries are combined into teams, showcasing the top five money-earning professionals in three disciplines: cutting, reined cow horse, and reining. These professional athletes and their exceptional Quarter Horses compete individually in contribution to their team, vying for a share of the million dollar prize. The American Rodeo begins the next day, March 9th, where renowned cowboys and cowgirls show off their skills in 8 rodeo disciplines: barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, and bull riding. The American Rodeo possesses the richest one-day rodeo payout, offering $2 million in earnings across all of the disciplines. If you're looking for a high-caliber display of horsemanship, teamwork, and athleticism, this event holds it all. Expect intricate maneuvers, precision timing, and remarkable control as horse and rider become one.

Kimes Ranch is fortunate to have some endorsees join in the fun! Morgan Cromer will represent the Burnt Orange team as the token cutting athlete. Sarah Dawson makes a comeback after dominating the cowhorse event, bringing Team Blue to the win in 2023, but this time she adorns Regal Red. Clayton Edsall is in the running for the cowhorse event as well, joining the Royal Blue team. One of our own, Jacob Lees, represents the KR brand in the American Rodeo as a bareback rider.  The Kimes Ranch brand is thrilled to have members of our #KRJFamily in the running for such an esteemed honor. Whether you're a seasoned rodeo fan, or simply seeking a unique western experience, these events presented by Teton Ridge promise an electrifying showcase of western tradition and athleticism.
