Kimes Ranch AQHA Redbud Spectacular Report

The AQHA Redbud Spectacular held in Oklahoma City runs May 28th through June 7th. Kimes Ranch had a booth set up and offered all styles of jeans, some hats, polos and women’s tops. It was set up throughout the entirety of the show and tons of people came by to check out what we had to offer. Along with offering our apparel, we had a few of our Kimes Ranch Family members showing. This included Leslie Lang and Robin Frid showing in the all-around and Matt Armenta and Bud Lyon competing in ranch riding and reining.

We also offered exhibitors the chance to win a free pair of jeans through random drawings throughout the show. Here are a few of our lucky winners…

Also participating in the Redbud were some of our Kimes Ranch Family members. This included Leslie Lang, Robin Frid, Mathew Armenta and Bud Lyon. As of the last Friday of the show, Leslie Lang had multiple first place finishes in junior trail level 1 and senior hunter under saddle. She also received top placings in open ranch riding and senior western riding. Robin Frid received awards in senior trail and senior western riding. Both Bud Lyon and Mathew Armenta placed in the open ranch riding and Mathew also placed in the senior reining. There was more reining competition yet to take place on the last Saturday and Sunday of the show but unfortunately I was unable to stay for those results. We congratulate all of our Kimes Ranch Family members on a job well done!
