Not to freak any of you fashionistas out but we are about two, yes TWO, weeks out from Grand Entry of the greatest Rodeo of the year! These last days leading up to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo are filled with excitement and a bit of anxiety when you start thinking of all the outfits you still need to plan! Depending on how many days you plan on attending, the number of outfits you can bring start to feel a little overwhelming. I personally like to throw on a little extra glam in the evenings, making it nearly impossible to wear only one outfit all day long. Then thinking of all the boots, accessories, and layers you have to pack along with your essentials—I’ll just say us ladies have our work cut out for us during these fabulous ten days in December.
Let’s face it, you want to save some room in your suitcase to bring back all the holiday gifts you plan on buying at Cowboy Christmas. I’m a chronic over packer, so unless I actually pack an extra bag for these items, there is no way I’d be able to fit MORE things in my suitcase to bring home, along with everything I packed to the desert! However, in order to relieve myself from some of this unnecessary stress (especially with the Holiday season among us), I have created a few great day-to-night looks using a select number of great staple pieces!
Running up and down the strip, hitting all the great shopping spots takes a toll on your feet! Keep it casual and fashionable in the Kimes Francesca Jeans, a flowy blouse, and your most comfortable flats! Adding some layers and textures with a fur vest and a felt hat create the perfect boho-cowgirl look! The slim boot cut fit of these jeans allows you to stay stylish all while not feeling restricted during a mid-day stretch (or nap!) you might have to take in order to keep going!

Same jeans, fresh new nigh-time look! Ditch the breezy blouse for a sleek velvet bodysuit! Don’t be afraid to make a statement in a bright, serape button down styled as outerwear! I went ahead and cuffed the Francesca’s in order to showoff these bold heels, which tie my whole look together head to toe!

Another day, another comfortable outfit! You can never go wrong with a 100% cotton outfit! I love the look of this Kimes Ranch Navajo Horns Tee paired with a deceitfully comfy leg-slit skirt! To add a little pop of color, I went ahead and threw on this lightweight short sleeve kimono. Finished this look off with some low-heeled booties (again, your feet will thank you at the end of the day!), and I’m ready to go watch the World Series of Team Roping at South Point!

Sparkle under the neon lights in that cute graphic tee and some sequins! Whether you prefer leggings or skirts, the sequin trend makes it easy to look fabulous on a budget! Grab one of your flattering business blazers to keep you warm at night, and top everything off with a great felt hat! I went ahead and kept on the same low-heeled booties and added a simple, yet elegant, squash blossom necklace.
