The problem with “New Year, New Me”

A week has passed since I arrived back home from the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas! As soon as I hit the ground in Tennessee on Tuesday afternoon I ran straight to work. This past week I have running on 2-3 hours of sleep and working everyday! On top of it all, I'm fighting a crazy head cold. BUT the good news IS.. I had one day this week to rest up, and boy am I feeling 100x better. It's crazy how one day of a good rest can make you feel SO much better! Anyways, enough about me.. Let's talk about some roughstock!

This past weekend was the one day 20th Anniversary Chase Hawks Memorial Roughstock event in Billings, Montana at Rim Rock Auto Arena. SO many Rodeo Cowboys hope to get the lucky invite too this amazing event. Some Rodeo Cowboys that got the lucky invite to this event were Chandler Bownds, Tanner Bothwell and Australian Rodeo Cowboy Anthony Thomas! The Rodeo Cowboys that walked away from this event as champions were:

Bareback Riding - Jessy Davis, 86.5 points on Thunder Monkey Sankey Rodeo Co. Horse. Fun Fact, it's the first time Jessy has won a check at the Rim Rock arena, and THE first time Jessy scored a HIGH 80 point ride at the Chase Hawk roughstock event.

Saddle Bronc Riding - Luke Butterfield, 82.5 points on Show Biz Sankey Rodeo Co. Horse. Fun fact, Luke is the 4th Canadian to Win the Saddle Bronc title at Chase Hawks.

Bull Riding - Joe Frost, 88 points on White As Burch Rodeo Co. Bull. Fun Fact, White As was the first the bull has been ridden since 2012 at Red Lodge by Beau Schroeder.

Congratulations to all of the champions and ALL of the riders that had the chance to ride at the Chase Hawk Roughstock Event!
