5 Must Have Styles

No matter the direction you turn these days, there are always new trends rolling down the street. It seems that just as we're beginning to master one trend, another one comes barreling in and knocks us off our feet! Whether it's mega 70's inspired flares or velvet pant suits, the task of staying on trend can be a daunting one In today's article, I've decided to share 5 easy trends to try this season and any other! And no, I promise my list does not include those faux muddy men's jeans from Nordstroms. Instead, I'll be sharing some easy styles that are on trend despite any season you're in!

Trend number one: black denim. I don't care if you're rocking a pair of black vintage Rockies or these new Kimes black skinnies, thankfully for us, black is one trend that is here to stay! The versatility of a good pair of black jeans is endless! Spice up your daily look and pair them with a favorite graphic tee and booties or dress up your weekend style and pair them with a blouse and some strappy heels. Regardless, a solid black denim piece is one of the best investments you can make in your wardrobe!

Trend number two is an easy one: graphic tees. I have no doubt that graphic or not, tees are another great style that is sure to stay. The best thing you can do when styling a graphic tee is keeping in mind new and creative ways to wear it! Knots and hip belts are huge right now, but one trend you may not have yet tried is a bralette! Whether you're more feminine and prefer lace or want to capture that edgy feel in a strappy piece, it's an effortless way to keep those graphic tees alive. In this look, I've styled my black v-cut Kimes Ranch Apparel graphic tee with a strappy bralette from The Fringed Pineapple. It gives this casual outfit just the right amount of edge.

Trend number three is probably the easiest of all: rolled denim. Whether you're in a pair of boot cut, boyfriend or skinny jeans, this look is achievable with nearly any style of bottoms! For this look, I simply rolled my Kimes "Alex" Jeans and better showcased some of my favorite Old Gringo boots, all the while, giving the appearance of a little more effort in an otherwise effortless style!

Trend four: white tee & denim jeans. I told you I was going to showcase a few trends that would never go out of style! No matter how the seasons change, this look is always in. You simply can't beat a good white tee and your favorite denim jeans. Wear it alone or throw on a hip belt, either way you'll be comfortable and can rest easy knowing this look is acceptable every where!

Finally, trend number 5: denim on denim. You know what I'm talking about....the "Canadian jumpsuit". The "cowboy" look. The only outfit you can rock while both, tending to your cattle or going on a dinner date. Thank goodness, denim on denim is still in! In this true western inspired look, I've paired a simple denim jacket with my Kimes "Bonnie" skinny jeans, threw on some Old Gringo boots for a subtle pop of color and paired it with a few great accessories!

I hope I've enlightened your take on season trends and how to achieve those looks that never go out of style. Though, I have to admit, there is no better "trend" than that of your own. While it's always a fun game to test out the latest styles, as long as you're happy and comfortable in what you're wearing then I'd say you're the most stylish girl in the world!
